For Deborah Zlotsky's Translation Project, we had to select an interesting phenomenon and translate its effects through drawings. I chose to focus on the movements of competitive figure skaters as they skated their long programs (observed through fan-recorded videos) and translate their ice coverage onto paper. Charcoal is the main medium.
